The societal expectations for a woman are hard to achieve. It’s like attempting to reach an equilibrium that ceases to exist. Remember! You can be angry, but you not too angry. You can be funny, but not overly so. You can be intelligent, but not a smartmouth (it’s not ladylike!) And most importantly, you can be emotional, but never too sensitive. As women, we are constantly policed to believe that being too little or too much of something is the be-all end-all of our identities. When that shouldn’t be the case. In this episode, the HUSH girls break down these harmful stereotypes and challenge the status quo, while embracing the quirks on what it truly is like to be a woman in this day and age —female rage and all.
