Environmental and animal rights activist, dedicated to creating a positive impact on our planet. As the Co-founder and Chair of the environmental NGO "Let's Make Cyprus Green," she spearheads initiatives that raise awareness about the detrimental human impact on the environment, with a particular focus on excessive waste and plastic pollution. Under Eleni's leadership, the NGO launched the highly successful "Refill Cyprus" campaign, which encourages individuals and businesses to reduce single-use plastic bottles by providing access to filtered drinking water. This pioneering scheme, the first of its kind in Cyprus, has gained widespread recognition and was recently honored with the prestigious "Best Youth Initiative for Ocean Conservation" award by EU4Ocean. With a deep passion for safeguarding our natural resources and protecting animals, Eleni strives to inspire positive change through community engagement and education, empowering individuals to adopt eco-friendly practices. Her unwavering dedication paves the way for a greener and more sustainable future, not only in Cyprus but also beyond, ensuring that future generations can enjoy a healthier and more environmentally conscious world.
