After both playing for differing results on Thursday night, the stage is set for a telling Adelaide 36ers-Perth Wildcats match up on Saturday so we have a Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle Bonus Show with Scott Ninnis and Cody Ellis to break it all down.

Ninnis and Ellis join Chris Pike to look ahead to the Saturday night match up with so much at stake for both old NBL rivals and we look back on the Adelaide 36ers' Thursday win over the Illawarra Hawks without Craig Randall and Perth Wildcats' rough home loss to the Tasmania JackJumpers.

We open up the discussion by talking about how the 36ers looked against the Hawks without import point guard Craig Randall where Daniel Johnson, Robert Franks and Anthony Drmic all played their best games of NBL23.

We talk about if Franks and Johnson can still dominate that way with Randall back in the line-up and Scott Ninnis talks about how it was a good thing for the team to play that game without Randall just to figure some things out, and see what works before adding him back in.

Scott talks about how the Sixers have been awful defensively so far this season but have the biggest room for improvement of all NBL clubs.

Talk then turns to the Perth Wildcats and their fifth straight loss for the first time since 2005 where again import forward Brady Manek underperforming leaving his position moving forward in serious doubt.

Cody Ellis has an ideal potential replacement for him in the form of former 36ers excitement machine Jacob Wiley before discussion on what Scott describes as a Wildcats team that has 'got old quick' and who are playing with a significant lack of effort right now.

We wrap up the discussion with a look at the Saturday night match up between the Adelaide 36ers and Perth Wildcats at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

All made possible thanks to the support of Hoops Heaven (www.hoopsheaven.com.au).
