Welcome to the Heritage Market Minute for Monday October 11th! Markets are starting the week lower as the bond market is closed for Columbus Day. It's a busy week for the markets as earning season kicks off later this week, starting with the big banks. Earnings are always a critical part of our evaluation process as corporate profits are one of the main drivers of equity markets. Markets are just a few days away from entering the best 7 month stretch of the year and hopefully breaking away from some of the weak seasonality we have seen as of late.
