The spring real estate market is in full swing, so I wanted to give you a few tips on how to stand out in the market during the warmer months.

With the spring market already underway, I have some tips to make sure your home will sell quickly and for the most money during the spring and summer months.
Start preparing your home for showings now.

First, find out what your home is worth. You can do that by hiring an appraiser or talking to a qualified real estate agent like myself, who will come out and give you an idea of what you can expect to list for during the spring or summer months.

Next, you need to figure out when the right time is to list your home. Deciding to sell during the spring or summer is very broad, and I can help you pick an exact date to go on the market. This way, you have a clear idea of when you need to have your home preparations done.

You should also maximize your home’s curb appeal. As an agent, I know that over half of the people who view your property are going to drive by it at least once before setting up an appointment to walk through. Winter is a great time to trim your bushes and trees, and it might be a good idea to consider power-washing. My advice is to take a really good look at your home from the road and go from there.

Lastly, you need to start preparing your home for showings now. That means decluttering and depersonalizing the space so buyers can more easily imagine their things in your home. It’s also always a good idea to clean out closets so you can show off their space.
