WA MP, STEVE THOMAS gives us a hard-hitting look at the reality about WA’s new gun laws – and how WA farmers were misled by a deliberately deceptive narrative.
Steve explains why he voted against the new laws while his party’s leadership supported them.
He explains the huge cost that every WA shooter will now face – including farmers who trusted Labor, but can now expect to fork out as much as $8k for their new safes, and licence fees of over $700 a year.
He also explains how Labor worked with the media to deliver its agenda – which is to ultimately remove every firearm from every licensed shooter.
Steve’s comments come on the eve of the WA Gun Rally being held at 10:30am on Saturday 8 February, at Perth’s Supreme Court Gardens to send Labor a vital political message one month out from the March state election.
