Nikola ($NKLA) Opens First HYLA Hydrogen Refueling Station in Southern California

Nikola (NASDAQ: NKLA), a global leader in zero-emissions transportation, has celebrated the grand opening of its first HYLA high-pressure modular refueling station in Southern California.

The Ontario station, operational since last month, can fuel up to 40 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks daily. Nikola plans to develop nine more refueling solutions by mid-2024, totaling 14 by year-end.

With 24/7 support, Nikola aims to provide a seamless fueling experience and expand its hydrogen supply chain to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks and reduce transportation emissions. The HYLA refueling network will offer flexible options to customers, including modular stations, customer-owned facilities, and partnerships with public truck stops. This includes a recent 10-year agreement for a hydrogen refueling station in Oakland, California, with FirstElement Fuel.
