6ers, you’re here in this community because you have goals and I’m here to tell you that life will offer your plenty of opportunities to boldly take action on your dreams. Accepting the familiar and safe path is the alternative. The reality is there no easy path to the top, and success in any endeavor requires hard work and sacrifices on your part to get there.

This week, Tony Nash is joined by Josh Bridges, former U.S. Navy SEAL, professional CrossFit athlete, and founder of Good Dudes Coffee. He is a former collegiate wrestler who also competed and won regional CrossFit competitions. In 2016, after retiring from the Navy, he was 33 and took a 13th-place finish as the oldest individual male at the Reebok CrossFit Games that year.

You'll discover how limited our days and time are. Athletes have a shelf life, as any professional athlete will tell you if you ask them. However, they realized that everyone has a maximum of 24 hours per day, and since even lesser individuals were able to do so, why can't you? You'll understand that your key decisions during those valuable hours have the most influence.

As a result, you develop greater awareness of and openness to how your daily activities may actually affect your capacity to enjoy life in its most fundamental forms. The value of your time increases, and you make every effort to match your commitment level with your goals.

-----

  • 01:01 - Endurance and discipline can help you stay on your journey
  • 02:15 - Josh’s downward spiral of giving up on his dreams
  • 04:59 - Fine-tuning your acquired life skills because it never stops
  • 07:34 - Tactical optimism as a game-changing tool
  • 10:00 - How acupuncture and cold plunge helped his immune system
  • 14:31 - When you’re stuck in your ways, you’re probably wrong
  • 16:56 - Sometimes the healthy opinion is not having one
  • 21:19 - Look internally. That’s where your growth is
