Born in Santa Monica, California, he's dedicated his life to serving various United Methodist churches in the Los Angeles area. The accomplishments of Dr. Dickey extend beyond the religious and academic realms. His exceptional contributions have garnered recognition in various distinguished publications, such as "Who's Who In The World," "Who's Who In The West," "Who's Who In American Religion," "Who's Who In California," and "Two Thousand Notable American Men." He is truly an exceptional individual, well-regarded in genealogical and hereditary societies, including the Berks County GS, Colonial Order of Acorn, Irish Family HS, English Family HS branches, Ontario Genealogical Society, and many others. One cannot help but be impressed by Dr. Dickey's passion for his heritage and ancestry. He is a member of several esteemed organizations, such as the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, the Society of Colonial Wars, and the Order of Polonia Restituta, to name just a few. His dedication to genealogy is further exemplified by his accreditation as a Genealogist with the American College of Genealogists in 1996. He is a man with a truly giving heart, not letting his ministry remain within the walls of his church as he serves as Chaplain Lt. Col., for Squadron 63, Civil Air Patrol, USAF Auxiliary and as Deputy Chaplain, California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. But wait, there's more!
