Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived said, 'wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding'. That tells you why when God asked him for what he wanted, he asked for wisdom. Hence, the necessity of wisdom cannot be overestimated. Even favour requires wisdom to keep flowing.
