Carolyn Brown aka Ivy Eld is a singer-songwriter based in Asheville, NC. She recently released her very first EP, a triumph after many years of her inner critic and life circumstances getting in the way. In this episode, she shares about her journey as a singer, the origins of her album, and why grief in the midst of losing her brother was the ultimate catalyst to set her inner artist free and complete her album. She also shares about her journey working with Davin as he, in her words "deconstructed" her voice and the experience of releasing the need to protect her most authentic sound.
