On this edition of Free City Radio we hear from educator and translator Eric-John Russell who shares reflections on engaging with the work of Anselm Jappe and particularly "The Self-Devouring Society: Capitalism, Narcissism, and Self-Destruction." Eric-John translated these texts into English and points to the ways that the critiques outlined in the book can be understood as relevant to addressing the ways that there persists a wide lack of knowledge around the fact that surviving daily life is collective in many ways.
