Veterans Affairs plans to keep growing its healthcare workforce next year, if and it’s a big if Congress agrees to help cover a cool $12 billion shortfall for 2025. Now some of that money would go toward higher drug and prosthetics prices but VA officials say they’re also trying to keep up with higher than expected demand from veterans.
