Donald Trump has spent the last few days raging like a lunatic across multiple social media platforms about Judge Juan Merchan's decision to schedule his criminal sentencing for this coming Friday (after the judge ruled that he would NOT be tossing the felony convictions.) Merchan made the right decision, even if it was difficult to do, and Trump is angrier than ever that he still has to face justice.
Newsmax host Wendy Bell went on an unhinged rant the other day about how much it "sucks" that she's not allowed to engage in name-calling on the network. Bell wanted to call former Republican Representative Liz Cheney a host of names, but lamented that she is forbidden from doing so. This is supposed to be a "news" network, but instead it has become a platform for MAGA grievances.
According to Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, the nation is both "at war" and "under siege" following the attacks that took place on New Year's Eve. But rather than thinking rationally about what happened and getting to the bottom of it, Graham is using the attacks as an opportunity to push through Donald Trump's nominees without proper vetting or confirmation hearings. Graham says that we have to push all the nominees through to protect the country, which is a complete lie, as Farron Cousins explains.
Donald Trump is back to hating on windmills again for some bizarre reason. In a post on Truth Social, Trump once again attacked the renewable energy and our allies in the UK by saying that they are making a "huge mistake" by investing in windmills in the North Sea instead of oil drilling. Drilling in the area has been yielding fewer and fewer barrels of oil, so renewable energy is the smarter investment.
