Right now it is so easy to just get in your car in the garage, open the door, drive out, go about your life in your own cubicle, in your own little lane, and your own office, and then drive, home park in your garage, put the garage door down, and then then you just go inside and take care of your own family. But today we have an incredible opportunity to spend some time with somebody who refused to park in the garage and just keep her nose to herself and just keep her nose out of everybody else’s business. We have the gift of a woman who got involved in everybody's family, everybody's family business to bring them to be much more of a part of the family of God; not just to be themselves but to be in partnership. So today I have the incredible blessing to share a microphone with Mark Frith, who's also in studio, and the famous, the sacred, the precious Kay Meyer.

My name is Mark Femmel, Pastor here in St Louis and with Family Shield Ministries. I came across a book by somebody that I'm very excited to share with you today–Sheri Mueller. She is an incredible blessing because she put a book that addresses the pain that 30% of wives are silently struggling with. 30% of wives are critically unhappy in their relationship in their marriage because of the one thing we're going to talk about. Now that doesn't just mean the wives are upset; there are a lot of guys I don't have this decision for that; Sheri might. But a lot of guys are also unhappy with this. So this is an opportunity for guys, for gals, husbands and wives, to be able to figure out how to itch the itch they cannot seem to reach, and it’s so easy. Sheri makes it so easy. She gives us an action plan. So by the end of this conversation which is only 27 minutes right now, you’re going to have the ability to balance your life better, and have the ability to bring words into the lives of those around you and do life better. Can Christians thrive just showing up for church on Sunday morning; just an hour on Sunday morning? We’ve been doing it a long time, and we’re still here. So it must not be broke, so let’s not fix it. Today the reason why I’m excited about this is Dennis Allen is going to talk to us about what if it were more than just one hour on Sunday? What would the church be, and more importantly, what would your family be if they had more than just an hour on Sunday morning, together or separate, however your church is doing it. My name is Mark Femmel in St. Louis and I am blessed to have a conversation with somebody who has written the book that I wish I could give to myself as a kid. This is from Concordia publishing house and it is a journey through church history. Christa Petzold has written this book and is a tremendous gift of just short bedtime stories, or reading it in the car stories. It really showcases the people who have come before us that have handed down the faith to us telling us and raising us in the faith to say, that Bible, the word that it says, it changes everything. And she also even goes into sort of the history of our our worship service. So if you've ever wondered why we are the way we are, where we got it, and how it got here, Christa’s book is just the answer to all that. Plus, it's fun to read. And it's designed for little kiddos, so if you are a five year old or a 50 year old, this book is gonna keep you engaged and make you a lot hungrier for um, just the treasures that people have laid down before.…
