Introducing Celine as a special guest for this Valentine's day episode! First, the incredible nuances of queefing are discussed (00:00:51) Next, a Valentine's discussion just shows how lonely everyone on this podcast is and also explains it because everyone is kind of a loser. (00:03:46) Walter believes Lina Wertmüller’s “Swept Away” is a wonderful Valentine's movie because the film uses controversial role reversals to discuss gender, class and oppression. As the characters in "Swept Away" are thrust onto a deserted island, the three hosts think about their own abilities in surviving on such an island (00:20:25) Celine shares her thoughts on Pedro Almodóvar’s ”Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!”, which has similarities with the previous film. She considers Almodóvar’s support for Roman Polanski and that becomes a discussion about how one should receive media from artists with corrupt morals or morals you don't agree with. (00:41:54) Swade brings in an episode of "Arthur", in specifically "Arthur and the Square Dance" which deals with Arthur and Francine fretting about people thinking they have crushes on each other. The hosts give their thoughts on why crushes and love was such a weird topic when they were younger.
