Roger also serves as a science and economics adviser for Environmental Progress, a research and policy organization fighting for clean power and energy justice. In addition, Roger holds and has held numerous academic and research fellowships including the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan; The Breakthrough Institute, and the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences. In 2016, Roger founded the Sports Governance Center at CU Athletics and served as its director for three years. Roger received his B.A. in mathematics, his M.A. in public policy, and his Ph.D. in political science all from CU Boulder.
