On this day, as the 47th President of the United States is sworn into office, beginning what we can only assume will be a modern-day 'reign of terror', we sit in the tension of where we are as a country. We recognize the importance and significance of using our voices when so many have wanted to silence us. We honor the model of leadership and persistence set forth by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that we seek to follow and emulate.
These next few years will be long, but we will be here with you for the whole ride.
