I was asked this the other day, and at first, I didn’t say anything. To me, it felt like a no-brainer—everyone should be working in their area of genius. 💡

But the more I thought about it, the answer became clear: mental health.

Here’s the deal.
Your area of genius is the space where you’re not only amazing at what you do, but it energizes you. You feel driven to do more because you’re good at it and it makes you come alive. 🔥

And when you’re working in this space, toward a mission that truly resonates with you—not just fleeting passion, but a core mission—you see incredible results.

💡 Happy people = amazing outcomes.

When your team is working in their area of genius, aligned with a mission they believe in, magic happens. The work stays positive and focused, and even when things get tough, there’s a mindset of resilience and positivity. 🙌

On the flip side, when people aren’t in their genius zone, negativity creeps in. 😔 And negativity can pull down a company like a cancer—it has to be cut out fast.

So, as a leader, make sure your people are in their areas of genius. Most importantly—make sure you are too.
