💡 Why focusing on areas of genius matters—especially when hiring external help.

Let’s talk about outside resources.
🤔 Whether it’s for social media, email campaigns, or legal assistance—sometimes, you need to bring in external help because you can’t handle it all or it’s not your area of genius.

But here’s the key: Don’t settle for generalists when you need specialists.

Take legal teams as an example. Unless you're a trained lawyer, you're not an expert. ⚖️ When I reached out to a friend for a lawyer, the first question was: Do you need a patent lawyer or a trademark lawyer?

To some, those sound the same—but they’re very different.
🎯 Hiring the right lawyer, whether for patents or trademarks, is critical. You wouldn’t hire a patent expert to handle a trademark issue just because they’re available. You need someone in their zone of genius.

That’s the point: The more specific the expertise, the better the outcome.

Have a system in place where you can easily reach out to the right people when the time comes. This helps you stay prepared and ensures you have the support you need when you hit that red button for help. 🚨
