David Williams, founder of independent, multi-award-winning, global people development agency Impact International, is this week’s #earthconversepodcast guest.

Dave shares the pivotal impactful moments of his journey so far. All rooted in nature, outdoors and adventure. Starting with his humble farming background. Including finding himself at 10 years old asking “what am I going to do with my life?”

And how a 4-week Outward Bound course changed his life. “I realised I had capabilities beyond my imagination” and from that, resolved that “whatever those people have done to me, I want to do that to other people”.

Thereby embarking on an intentional path to become an outdoor instructor and being among the pioneers of experiential outdoor training. And significantly, creating and growing Impact International, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Dave shares his gems, ‘gets philosophical’ about nature, talks about intuition and liberating human potential. And he gives his view on reimagining a future and poses questions for us to contemplate in these times. And touches on how the Camino de Santiago helped him face the death of his beloved wife Ann.
