This episode is the fourth teaching session in Dayton Women in the Word’s The Shema Group Study Bundle. In this episode, Jillian compares and contrasts how The Shema is translated across the spectrum of versions of the Bible, from word for word to thought for thought translations. She focuses on the word “Shema” as she explores how both Moses and Jesus use this word in Deuteronomy and in the New Testament, paying special attention to what happens within the heart between listening and obeying.
