Typosquatting is where attackers register domains similar to popular websites, hoping users will mistype the URL and land on their fake site. These sites can be used for phishing attacks, distributing malware, or even stealing sensitive information. To prevent typosqu atting attacks, individuals and businesses can register common misspellings of their domain names and regularly monitor for any unauthorized use of their brand name.
