Welcome in to the 16th episode of Cult Film Cafe where we talk about and breakdown 1996's "Trainspotting". This is Danny Boyle's sophomore feature film after 1994's "Shallow Grave". The film is based off the 1993 Irvine Welsh novel of the same name and was adapted for the screen by John Hodge. The film stars Ewan McGregor, Ewan Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd, Robert Carlyle and Kelly Macdonald (in her feature film debut). Is "Trainspotting" the best British film of the 90's?
