Professor Alexandra Minna Stern works at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on the history of eugenics and the uses and misuses of genetics in the United States and Latin America. Her recent book publications are Telling Genes: The Story of Genetic Counseling in America (2012), and Proud Boys and the White Ethnostate: How the Alt-Right Is Warping the American Imagination (2019).
