For many New Yorkers with cars, alternate side parking is an annoying twice-a-week ritual where cars must be moved from the spots to make way for street sweepers. Mayor Bill de Blasio paused this practice during the pandemic, but his successor is bringing it back. Pat Kiernan talks with his colleagues about the headaches of driving in a city where there aren’t enough parking spots.
