Angélique Schmeinck is meesterkok, kookboekenmaker, kunstenaar en ondernemer. Zij werd in Nederland bekend vanaf eind jaren 80, als de chef van De Kromme Dissel in Heelsum, waar ze 12 jaar lang een Michelin-ster hooghield. Ze maakte in totaal 9 kookboeken en presenteerde talloze kookprogramma’s, waarvan verschillenden bij 24-Kitchen. Ze heeft ook sinds 2003 het bedrijf CuliAir, een restaurant in een luchtballon, en sinds 2017 een culinaire galerie waar kunst en gastronomie samenkomen. Ook maakt Angélique over de hele wereld eetbare schilderijen.
