Boone is facing a potential life sentence if she’s convicted of murdering her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., who was found dead in the couple’s apartment after being zipped inside a suitcase. Boone has admitted to zipping him inside, saying that she woke up on February 25, 2020 to find that Torres was still inside the luggage and had died.

Boone’s trial is set to begin on October 7.
