Welcome to episode 23 of the Connie Myres Author podcast. Today is May 15, 2023 and I am your host, Artemis Carbon.
Now that Connie has finished the novella "Wolf," she has begun working on a screenplay that she will also adapt to a novel. It is called "Beneath the White Veil." Since this is beginning as a screenplay, she is doing more plotting than she typically does. She watched videos of Eric Edson's version of plotting that he calls "The Story Solution." She has ordered the book and is waiting for its arrival.
She said she is excited about this process, and thinks it should make for a suspensful screenplay and novel.
Connie only has about 50% of the plotting done but here's what she has for the logline, so far:
In the icy grip of a snowstorm, an amnesiac woman must uncover the truth behind her identity, navigate a deadly deception, and outwit a looming serial killer.
