The amount of work that can be delivered by a single team contributing to a product is limited no matter how efficient the team becomes. Those factors impose the need to manage multiple distributed teams. Independently of the work allocation strategy used to scale (feature based, component, hybrid...), communication across the teams is a challenge. Standard Scrum provides the basic ceremonies as part of the scrum framework. Meta frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS provide additional basic constructs to enable scalability. We'll discuss lessons learnt from the trenches to avoid common pitfalls in this type of environment.
