3 Tips to Prepare Your Home for Sale

Good morning! Today I wanted to go over the three most important things you must do to prepare your home for sale.

1. De-clutter. We all have a lot of it and I just went through it myself. The best thing to do is move your clutter to your garage or store unit. Once the clutter has been removed, you will find carpet stains that need to be cleaned and other areas that may need attention. This does not cost any money and will only take your time and effort.
2. Detailing. Take care of any cleaning or painting that needs to be done; you want to make your home bright, clean and neutral.
3. Fix anything that is broken. If you have a leaky faucet, running toilet or dead light bulbs, they need to be addressed. This also doesn’t cost a lot of money and you want the property to be functioning.
The bottom line is that we want to be sure that when we list your home, we have an open, bright, clean and functional property. This will allow me to attain the highest amount of money in the shortest amount of time. These are the easiest, cheapest and most effective tips for preparing your home for the market and getting it sold!
