Pastor Laura shared a message entitled "THANKful Truly" as she looked at Leviticus 7:11-13. In this Old Testament passage we learn a lot about the attitude of thankfulness. She shared about how thanksgiving is a key ingredient to having peace with God! Here are a few highlights from this week's message:
- We must be thankful for ALL things!
- But what about the DIFFICULT things in our lives? (Why on Earth would we be thankful for the DIFFICULT things in our lives?)
- We are to be thankful because Christ SUFFERED. Christ went through HARD times. He was TORTURED...for YOU & for ME!
Bottom Line: Are you thankful just for the GOOD things? Are you also thankful for the DIFFICULT things? (True thanksgiving is being able to answer, “YES” to both of those questions.)
