Dr. Karen Thomas Brown is the Dean of Washington State University's College of Education. In an insightful conversation with Chino Y Chicano host Enrique Cerna, Dr. Thomas Brown says DEI is not dead, but under political attack. She says the demonization of DEI has gained traction because of a targeted campaign by conservative lawmakers and activists, and a lack of public understanding that DEI not just about race or gender, but opportunity, access and belonging.
