In this inaugural episode, hosts Mike Edwards and Josh Kozelj chat about Haney's experience having served as an Assistant Coach on Brian McCrae's staff last season and how he is looking to put a stamp on his 2019 roster this summer. We also dive into Haney's time in the Big Leagues, and how he carved out a five-year MLB career after being a 35th round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners. Haney talks about his first Major League hit in St. Louis in 1992, how it was a relief to round first base for the first time in the Majors after going hitless in his debut a few weeks beforehand—and narrating the experience of standing beside Cardinal great Ozzie Smith at second base.
