And if you’re talking about an agape kind of love … no kidding. Eros? No way. Agape? A God kind of love? Absolutely! The fact is, you can do sacrifice without agape. You can do gentleness, humility, and faithfulness without agape … at least for a while. But if you are practicing an agape kind of love, you cannot not sacrifice and serve.
