I'm delighted to have a fascinating guest today, Paul Bulcke, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nestlé S.A.
Nestlé is one of the largest companies in the world. The company employs about 270,000 people around the world. In 2021, the company generated sales of CHF 87,1 billion. Nestlé markets over 2000 brands worldwide and operates over 350 factories in 79 countries around the world. For over 150 years, Nestlé has been committed to safe, high-quality nutrition. The company sells in 186 countries around the world.
Paul Bulcke has been Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nestlé S.A. since 2017, prior to which he was Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé S.A. from 2008 - 2016. Overall, he has a career spanning more than 40 years at Nestlé, where he began his career in 1979.
In addition to his current role at Nestlé, he is Vice-Chairman, Board of Directors, L'Oréal; Board Member and Chairman, Community of Chairpersons, World Economic Forum (WEF).
He is Member, Board of Trustees, Avenir Suisse; Member, J.P. Morgan International Council and Co-Chairman, 2030 Water Resources Group.
