It is one of the easiest things to overlook, but also one of the most important things to consider. Maddie also gives back to her community in the form of charities, which is a big part of her mission and vision for her business. Her core values for The Scent Garden Shop include sustainability, the environment, and compassion for the community around her. Currently, she gives back to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 133 and Karma Cat and Zen Dog Rescue Society.
