People ask me all the time if now is a good time to sell a house in Bucks County. Most people feel that the spring market that we’re in right now is the best time to sell, and it well may be.
We’re seeing some interesting dynamics this spring. The number of houses on the market has continued to drop. There were 10% fewer houses on the market this April as compared to April last year. That certainly favors sellers. Whether it’s a good time to sell or not depends on hyperlocal and specific dynamics, though.
Some specific areas have high inventory, but buyers are still complaining that options are low. It really depends on your local area. While it’s true that spring really is the busiest time of the year, whether it’s a particularly good time for you and your family really depends on supply and demand of the market and neighborhood.
