In this episode of Breakthrough, our hosts Jason Moon and Tyler Tolles interview Dave Lauridsen, the owner of Crooked Creek Brewery, to discuss his journey into the brewing business, his community engagement, and the challenges and triumphs of running a brewery in Columbia County, Oregon.

Dave shares his beginnings as a homebrewer, his move from California to Columbia County, and the eventual decision to turn his hobby into a business. They touch on the importance of local events, community involvement, and the brewery's evolution, from its humble start in a pole barn during the COVID-19 pandemic to the dream of expanding in the future.

Dave also mentions his collaboration with renowned chef Jill Ramseier, who will add a new dimension to the brewery's offerings by developing an elevated pub food menu. The podcast explores the balance between risk and passion in entrepreneurship while emphasizing the importance of building community through local business.
