Lilianna Wilde is a singer-songwriter. Based in LA and from Toronto, Lillanna has a really interesting and inspiring story.

Originally going to business school and determined to do something entrepreneurial, making the switch to pursue something creative meant having a business plan and strategic approach to all facets, including branding, marketing, and outreach herself.

Lilliana gets honest about the failures she experienced trying out different fields before she landed on music, including film school, fashion school, and acting.

Highlights of this episode include:

  • The one essential ingredient to creating good music
  • Her thoughts on being independent vs getting signed
  • Going viral and monetizing on TikTok and YouTube
  • Revenue sources for independent artists including Film, TV syncs, and streaming
  • Missing your chances because you're worried about how you’ll be perceived
  • Past lives

I truly loved having this conversation, and I would love to hear if you liked it too.
