June 4 marks 35 years since the Chinese Government massacred countless peaceful protesters in #Tiananmen Square. Launching a campaign of silence that continues today. On 4 June 1989, the Chinese government launched a brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters in Beijing, resulting in thousands of deaths. Today, China continues to erase the memory of these events from national history.
