• Shawn Michaels wrestling his "retirement" match in his TWA promotion against Venom (Paul Diamond).
• Andy Rooney talking about wrestling in his weekly segment on 60 Minutes.
• Court TV airs its "Wrestling With Death" special.
• Chyna turns on Chris Jericho to help Eddie Guerrero on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw, forming a memorable partnership.
