You try to speak up about issues such as discrimination or sexism, but you're told that you're being "too sensitive" or "exaggerating" the problem.
This is known as gaslighting, a form of emotional abuse where someone tries to manipulate you into doubting your own perceptions. and it's commonly experienced by women in the workplace, especially Black and Brown women.
