“Behind the Curtain Project” let me share with you the vision behind this podcast. Imagine you were sitting in a theater 🎭 you are about to watch a performance. As you sit in your seat, in front of you is a beautiful stage with closed crushed red velvet curtains and gold tassels. The anticipation is building, you’re so excited to see this performance. The lights dim the curtains open and the beautiful performance is played out with perfection……. BUT. what we didn’t get to see is what’s going on behind the curtain before it opened. Anyone who has ever been in a play or had their child in a dance recital knows that what happens before those curtains are opened. It is chaotic it’s madness it’s Mayham. People generally are running around with flashlights in the dark, stumbling over things. It’s messy back there but the stage and the performance is beautiful. This is a metaphor for our lives. We live on a “proverbial stage” we have to put on a good show for our peers, social media, neighbors, networking groups, employees and the Arenas in which we play and socialize. What no one really gets to see is the messy stuff that we all deal with behind closed doors “our curtains” This podcast is going to provide a platform for people to openly talk about topics that we all need to be talking about. It will be a safe place to share stories of difficulties, challenges and triumphs that we have been through. Let’s talk about how we managed to go through it and what it looks like on the other side. In today’s society more than ever social media and life in general is a pressure cooker and it plays such a huge role in what we want to present on “our stage” When we get right down to it I think we’re gonna find that we’re all more alike than we are different. I hope Behind the curtain project inspired, brings hope and shines a bright light on the importance of caring for one another. Let’s get really real!!! Our stories will be someone’s salvation. ❤️
