The reason for my participation in the Architecture for Kids Podcast is that as an international educationalist, I am passionate about young people having opportunities to engage with the built and natural environments creatively and in as many ways as possible. Schools globally engage young people in the natural environment quite well, but opportunities for them to associate with the built environment are rare. What better was to do this than by immersing them in Architecture for Kids.

These short and to-the-point podcasts hope to improve the interplay between the fields of the built environment and education as we share knowledge between the practitioner, the creative, and the primary school teacher. Exploring how to prepare children and young people for economic, environmental, and societal challenges, and for their professional lives according to today’s needs and those of a sustainable future.
