🎓 To support drivers in shaping their desired future, Agape is pleased to announce the provision of two scholarships per semester, each valued at $2,500, specifically designed for the children of our drivers. This initiative will begin in the Fall '23 semester and continue through the Spring '24 semester, benefiting undergraduate students. 🎓
⚡️🚘The NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) has introduced a pilot program for SHL Licenses, which will make an additional 2,500 plates available to NYC Taxi Drivers. Under this program, selected vehicles will adhere to modified "Green Car" (SHL) regulations, specifically regarding pickup locations for rides. While these vehicles will be restricted from picking up passengers within the Yellow Taxi zone (below W 110th St and E 96th St) for typical pre-arranged rides, an exemption has been granted for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). This means these vehicles will be permitted to pick up NEMT rides anywhere in the city.
EV, WAV, and HYBRID vehicles will be allowed to participate in this pilot program 🚘⚡️
