This week we are publishing an interview carried out at the IATEFL 2022 Conference in Belfast, Ireland which first appeared on IATEFL TV and can be viewed here. David, Haneen and Alan were interviewed by Georgia Papamichailidou and Shaun Wilden and tell a few tales along the way. We find out what 'the big fish' really is in Belfast, how storytelling connects people and all there is to know about the amazing Hands Up Project. Thanks goes to all those at IATEFL who after two years ran an absolutely fantastic conference face to face again, with many of us meeting up for the first time, even after working together for years. Thanks also to the 40/50+ people who came to the Sharing Stories event on the Wednesday night, telling tales in multiple languages and having great craic in the process. The biggest thanks has to go to the amazingly multitalented and inspirational teachers who joined us through the Hands Up Project coming from Palestine to Belfast to share their stories, expertise, knowledge and laughs for a week at both IATEFL and the Hands Up Conference. Go raibh mile maith agat! ----more---- A Cornucopia of Tales and Tellers is a passion project brought to you by English teachers Alan and Simona, who want to create a compilation - or cornucopia if you will - of stories from all around the world and by as many tellers from around the world as possible. So grab a cup of tea, chai, water or uisce beatha, relax and enjoy hearing tales that have been handed down generations, or even ones that were dreamt up yesterday! Music by Purple Planet.
