There’s a lot of religious folks waiting for something to come that’s already here. This is how Jesus put it according to the Gospel of Luke.
“Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” (Luke 17: 20-21)
When we embrace the way of love- when we love God, when we love ourselves, when we love our neighbors as ourselves , when we understand that our neighbors include both strangers and our enemies- we begin to experience the world differently. We begin to create a different world
We don’t have to wait for this world. We can begin living in it right here and right now.
