Some of us have had some difficult things happen to us. Some of us have experienced profound injustice. Some of us are experiencing these difficulties right now.
Let me say that what happened to you, what’s happening to you is not right. Many of the things that happened were not blessings in disguise.
Nevertheless, you owe it to yourself not to let the pain of yesterday rob you of wellbeing you can experience tomorrow. Do the work today.
Let go of your anger, bitterness, and resentment no matter how well earned they may be. These are weights you no longer need to carry.
Let go of your embarrassment and shame. False pride never serves anyone well. Forgive yourself even as you’re forgiving others.
