“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” –Eleanor Roosevelt

The internal and external voices that tell you that you are not good enough, smart enough, or talented enough are not from God. The voices that keep trying to use your past against you, that continuously attempt to heap guilt and shame on you in the Biblical tradition come from Satan not from God.

It’s time for us to shut those voices up and cast them out of our minds. Some interpretations of the book of Revelation believe that it is speaking of events that have already taken place and that take place again and again when the reality of God’s love shows up in our lives and when we share that love with each other.

“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, proclaiming, “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Messiah, for the accuser of our comrades has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. (Revelation 12:10)

Affirm yourself and others. Never allow yourself to be made to feel less than or inferior.

I’m Horace McMillon. This is 60 Seconds of Hope.
